Privacy Policy

Introduction

Risky Rolls (“we,” “us”) is a dice game for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what leaves your device when you play. Local games and settings stay on your device. Online matches, rewards, Game Center, purchases, ads, and analytics use the services described below.

What stays on your device

Local game history, local player profiles, settings, and your coin balance are stored on your device. Deleting the app removes its local data, but does not automatically delete records already held by online services.

Game Center

Signing in with Game Center is optional. Apple handles that account. We use it for scores, leaderboards, achievements, and your player identity. If you play online using your Game Center identity, a small version of your profile photo and your display name are sent through our match server and shown to your opponent.

Online matches and rewards

Online play uses an anonymous Firebase account identifier. Our server receives that identifier, your display name, selected avatar and dice style, and your moves and predefined emotes to match players, run the game, reconnect players, and show the shared table. Your opponent sees your display name, avatar or Game Center photo, dice, moves, and emotes. A friend invite contains a temporary match code.

We store match identifiers, participating anonymous account identifiers, results, scores, match times, win/loss records, and reward receipts in Google Cloud Firestore. These records support game history, consistent rewards, and prevention of duplicate claims. Firebase App Check and Apple App Attest help verify that connections come from the app.

Referral and coupon features also use an anonymous Firebase account identifier. We retain referral codes, qualifying gameplay and reward records, coupon redemptions, and attempt limits to deliver rewards and prevent misuse. Anonymous identifiers do not require you to supply an email address, but still identify an app account.

Purchases

Apple processes every purchase. We receive product identifiers, verified transaction information, and whether Premium is active. Coin packs add virtual coins to your balance. We do not see your payment card or Apple ID password. Premium is either a monthly auto-renewing subscription or a one-time purchase; both remove ads and unlock Endless.

Ads

Free modes are supported by Google AdMob ads, including interstitial ads and optional rewarded ads. If you allow tracking, advertising partners may use the device’s advertising identifier to measure ads. You can decline tracking and still play.

Analytics

Firebase Analytics receives gameplay and interaction events, such as starting a mode, and app-instance/device information used to measure app use. These events should not be understood as completely anonymous. We do not send your name, Game Center ID, or other personal text in those events.

Service providers and retention

Apple, Google Firebase/Google Cloud, and Google AdMob process information to provide the functions described above, under their own privacy terms where applicable. Network services also process connection and diagnostic information to operate and secure those services.

Online account, match, and reward records are retained to support ongoing gameplay and prevent duplicate rewards. There is no automatic deletion when you uninstall the app. Contact us using the address below to ask about access to or deletion of your information; we may need information that lets us locate and verify the relevant app account. Some records may need to be retained for security, transaction integrity, or legal obligations.

Children

Risky Rolls is not directed at children under 13.

Your choices

• Decline App Tracking if you prefer not to be tracked.
• In some regions a Privacy options control on the home screen lets you change ad consent.
• Restore or manage purchases from the Premium sheet, or in iOS Settings under your Apple ID.
